Vivint is about trying to benefit it's employees as much as possible. They help to build motivation to work that way.
What I wish was different
Between departments, there are goals and objectives that don't line up and often there is conflict when it comes to handling customer accounts. Want there to be more unity.
Advice
It's a high stress environment but luckily there are leadership and mentors who are willing to do what it takes to work with you.

Sales Representative
April 2019 • Kennesaw, GA
What I liked
This job is extremely difficult. I repeat, EXTREMELY difficult and it is not for everybody. Because it's sales, there is a very steep learning curve before you begin making money. That being said I found the challenge is what kept me engaged and I learned more through this job than I have from any of my past internships combined. I also made over $20k in commission in just 3 months in the summer. I don't know any other type of job where you can make this much money and get this good of an experience in college.
What I wish was different
I wish I had studied the sales material more, I probably could have made a lot more money than I did.
Advice
If you are going to work this job, COMMIT. Study your sales material every day and trust your manager. They are there to help you succeed.

Corporate Communication Intern
July - September 2018 • Provo, UT
What I liked
I loved the way they treated me. They gave me real work to solve real problems. To them I wasn’t an intern, but rather an equal employee.
What I wish was different
Nothing. This internship was life-changing for me. I wish I put more hours that I did.
Advice
Go above and beyond. Come earlier than others and leave later than others. Show your boss that you love this internship more than anyone and that you’re willing to work harder than the actual employees.
