What I liked
Gaining the experience of having, coaching, and understanding what it takes to take control over the whole program and coach at the middle school/high school level.
What I wish was different
I wish I would have had more control to do things and experiment with my coaching style, but I also appreciate learning my first year.
Advice
Take it slow one day at a time, be prepared to dedicate yourself and time to the kids, and make sure to set small goals to keep kids engaged.
