Washington Animal Disease Diagnostic Laboratory (WADDL)

Technician Assistant

June 2019 • Pullman, WA

What I liked

The training was thorough and staff was patient. Was given opportunities to set my own schedule and develop some processes to my liking.

What I wish was different

I wish I hadn't been working another job so i could have had more hours to learn more.

Advice

You must be detail oriented and organized. These are not only essential for working at WADDL but are great things for other applications. Asking questions will help make training easier and reduce the risk of messing up not only your work but the work of others. Do not be afraid to ask for a new project or duty.

Technician Assistant

May 2019 • Pullman, WA

What I liked

I like working in a high-pressure environment, where attention to detail is mandatory for success. It has challenged be to become more detail-oriented, and to do things correctly the first time.

What I wish was different

I wish I could've had more one-on-one training.

Advice

Make sure the job you are applying for/interviewing for is actually something you're interested in, otherwise you'll have a miserable experience!
