Sales Consultant

May 2019 • Emporia, KS

What I liked

Working with customers and using what I have been learning in school to sell items and make commission. I also enjoyed experiencing the "business world" for the first time and what moving up the ladder looks like.

What I wish was different

I wish the training's were more one on one because then I would've felt more comfortable taking initiative on the operations side of the store instead of feeling like I didn't know anything.

Advice

It's a hard learning curve and it takes a lot of time to become comfortable with sales, don't give up and keep improving.
