What I liked
Being able to grow as an individual and the focus that was made for us as leaders to develop and think about our skills and who we are as leaders. It was also a great experience to be able to connect with the students we worked with and to be able to help their college process
What I wish was different
Training As well as the job was multiple hours everyday on Zoom which tended to be mentally exhausting, and contact from students would come at all hours of the day so sometimes it felt like the job never ended
Advice
Take the chance to try for this job because it’s a great opportunity to develop your skills as a leader that you might not get again. Learn to make a balance for your life so you can have time for yourself while also helping your students to the best of your ability.
