Administrative Intern

July 2017 - August 2017 Cheyenne, WY
“This was a really hands on, interactive internship. I got amazing and valuable experience that I would not have gotten anywhere else. The Wyoming Department of Corrections has one of the best and most effective prison systems in America with the lowest recidivism rates, and getting to learn about the criminal justice system and prison rehabilitation from such a renowned department was an immense privilege. I responded to prison grievance letters, wrote policy, shadowed field agents in probation and parole, and visited Wyoming prisons. I got to see how everything worked and even though I was there for a short time frame, we were able to fit so much in and I got so much out of this internship experience.”
