Washington River Protection Solutions (WRPS)

Risk Management Intern

June 2020 • Richland, WA

What I liked

There were lots of opportunities to attend formal training classes on all aspects of construction, estimating, and risk management. The company and department were very focused on training and making sure you learn the most possible.

What I wish was different

Nothing.

Advice

Previous experience is a benefit but not always necessary. Make sure you dedicate the time to learn the processes of the department and company. Along with the rules and regulations. There are multiple governing bodies and associations in the construction industry that dictate how things must be done. It's important to know the do's and dont's.
