Brand Ambassador

December 2019 - February 2020 • Birmingham, AL

What I liked

The flexibility of the work schedule was easy since you made your own hours and the people I communicated with in this job were pleasant to work with.

What I wish was different

Communication could have been incredibly better. I felt like I was left in the dark from the higher ups. The people I reported to gave me all the information they knew, but they too were not told a whole lot it seemed.

Advice

In the short amount of time I worked with Waitr through my internship, all of the regional marketing managers, including my boss, were laid off and soon after I ended my internship they laid off 450+ drivers in the state of Alabama alone. I would be cautious if you decide to work for this company.

Delivery Driver

November 2018 • Lafayette, LA

What I liked

Make your own schedule, easy job, you're by yourself in your car.

What I wish was different

Pay your own gas, depreciation on your car, no mileage reimbursement. Since the 2018 tax changes, you can no longer claim miles you drive for a tax credit, so you hardly make minimum wage.
