About MakerGirl

MakerGirl is a not-for-profit organization working to bridge the gender gap in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math). We do this by educating students ages 7-22 through multi-level educational programs that teach them about STEM through 3D printing and other cutting edge technologies. To date, we have educated over 6,100+ girls in 28 states across the country.
Our vision is for every girl identifies as a MakerGirl—a girl who lives and dreams as an unstoppable force, saying “Yes!” to challenges of the future.

“ Working for MakerGirl has been one of the highlights of my college career. I have met amazing women and have had the opportunity to have a lot of really unique experiences (for example traveling to DC for a science expo!). I would not have received my full-time offer elsewhere if it weren't for my time at MakerGirl. Plus, working with the young girls and the 3D printers is really fun!”
