Camp Mac is a summer camp for boys and girls inside the Talladega National Forest in Munford, Alabama. The camp originated in 1948 and offers three terms over the course of the summer for children 1st grade through 8th grade. Each season, approximately 100 staff members are employed including Counselors in Training, Junior Counselors, Senior Counselors, Coordinators, and Support Staff with upper-level staff and instructors working the entire summer. Camp Mac focuses on delivering quality education and instruction and aims to provide opportunities that children may not experience inside the walls of a classroom or while at home.
